Audrey & Lily

Notice how pulled up her face is.

Tres Hepburn, especially with her hand to her shades.

Pouf & Bangs

Pouf Hardware, Bangs, and a great wardrobe palette seemed to have inspired Karl.

Love the whiteness.

I fell under Audrey’s spell around middle school.  She was my first muse, and the reason why I started whole-heartedly learning how to get a look. Big eyes, pale lips, and a big pouf on the crown of my head. Chanel’s recent cocoon bag campaign features Lily Allen.  I could not stop loving the pics, and here is why:  it’s totally Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  A bolder black and white palette, heavy eye makeup, and cool head gear and sun wear.  Of course, I thought I was the first one to have this epiphany, but as I google image searched for “Audrey Hepburn Sunglasses,” I stumbled upon other sources with similar observations.  Whatevs! Here it is from me to you. The moral of this story is: wear tons of eye makeup even when you are wearing sunglasses.
